There’s more, so please do the research and see what gems you unearth!
2 medium sized bananas or 1 large banana
¼ cup of dates, with seeds removed. Soak in warm water for a few minutes to soften.
1 cup of yoghurt or non-dairy milk
1 cup of ice (if you froze your banana(s) first you can leave this out)
Combine the ingredients in a blender (ice at the bottom if using ice) and blend until smooth.
Add a handful of your favorite nuts or a ½ cup of pre-soaked chia seeds to this recipe as an option. This might help cut the sweetness a little as both bananas and dates are natural sweet treats.
