Greatness Through Service

Service to truth is not slavery; it is how greatness and great men are birthed. Just as you won’t get olive oil without crushing the fruit of the olive tree, so you don’t find greatness that comes in service.

It is not a mistake that the greatest people who ever lived on our planet were not the loudest humans, who flaunt ill-gotten wealth in the face of other people’s poverty. The greatest were, most of the time, the ones who were molded in the quietness of their service to their community and humanity at large. They wore their humble acts of service like golden garments of honor. Not seen by many, yet their services made a way for many. Not crowned as heroes, but they stood tall among those men called gods.

I like the way my brother, Just Joe (BOJA), puts it:

“Let’s stop the fantasy. Greatness is not found in your dreams, visions, declarations, or expensive journals. It is found in your willingness to bleed—to lose yourself in an unfiltered, unapologetic, undignified service.

Here’s the secret no one tells you:

The fastest way up… is to fall face down. To kiss the dirt of your own humiliation. To look life dead in the eye and whisper:

“Whatever you send me—I will serve it.”

Serve the unfair boss.
Serve the broken system.
Serve the ungrateful friend.
Serve the child who cannot pay you back.
Serve the moment you hate with all your heart. Serve like a slave. Think like a king. Burn like a god.

Don’t flinch when people are selfish.
Don’t fold when the greedy flex their muscles. Their power is an illusion—a test, not a threat. The more they lie, steal, boast, and rise…The deeper your roots grow in the dark. And the day you rise, nothing will shake you.

You think no one sees you? Think again.

The winds are watching. The soil is humming. The elements, created and uncreated, are whispering your name in realms you’ve never entered.
They are gossiping about your greatness.
They are groaning—yes, groaning—for the day you’ll stop whining and start ruling.

Because when you finally show up in your full form, everything will bow. Not out of pity—but out of prophecy.

So hear me! Serve. Then serve more.
Then serve even when you’re spitting blood.
You are not wasting your life—you are making it immortal.

Finally, If you cannot serve,
Don’t expect to reign.
If you cannot bow,
Don’t ask for a crown.

Because Life is not your toy—Life is God.
And God does not exalt the loud. He exalts the laid-down.

So lay down. And rise. Burn. And build.           Serve. And become.

And when you do…
You won’t have to chase greatness.
Greatness will kneel before you.”

The question remains, will you serve faithfully even when no sees, and become a god among men, or will you serve your belly and become a stench in the nostrils of immortals? The choice is yours.
